这世上有一种人，他在茫茫人海中或许显得不怎么突出，然而当他若是拿起乐器开始弹奏，霎时间，整个周遭的人都会停下来听他演奏。而倘若妳有机会听到德州吉他之神Stevie Ray Vaughan的琴音，你会立刻知道他就是属於这种光芒乍现的人，让你听过一次就魂牵梦縈，难以忘怀这世上竟曾经出现如此美妙的音乐。然而上天毕竟是妒忌英才的，Stevie虽在二十几岁时便已逐渐崭露头角，尤其在1982年参加Montreux音乐祭时，一举受到David Bowie与Jackson Browne两位乐坛大老注意，而立即邀请Stevie参与他们的录音工程，之后更是受到各方讚赏，横扫整个八零年代，成为票选最受期待与欢迎的摇滚吉他手。然而悲剧却发生在他在1990年準备前往芝加哥的途中，因搭乘直昇机而意外坠毁，享年才35岁而已。

吴莉毕业于中央音乐学院，著名青年古筝演奏家，国际、国内古筝大赛双料金奖得主，中国音乐家协会古筝专业委员会会员，古筝硕士。现执教于广州星海音乐学院民乐系。2000年荣获台湾“千禧国际古筝独奏大赛”第一名。2001年再获“中国青少年艺术大赛古筝青年专业组”北京赛区金奖、全国总决赛金奖。吴莉的古筝音乐，气质独特、意韵悠长，有幽兰之淡雅，含山河之气韵，传统与现代的绝妙交融成就了其独树一帜的风格，曾多次受中央电视台邀请录制古筝独奏节目。
古人抚琴，必择静室高斋，或是山巅上，或是水涯上，再遇着那天地清和的时候，焚香静坐，心不外想，琴音荡漾间，达到天人合一的境界。而今，时代变迁，物事人非，但只要筝音一起，依然是琴音斑斓绕耳畔，玲珑点滴舒心弦。这才发觉，古人的那种气韵与风范，是代代相传的，在我们内心深处涌动着的，依然是华夏儿女特有的那份写意与浪漫。
本专辑以写意的手法抒发现代人的浪漫情怀。古筝的音色和表现力，源自千年前的古筝魅力，来自当代古筝四美之一（宋婷婷、常静、付娜）吴莉的古筝写意浪漫之旅。
